CRADLE IS NATIONAL NON PROFIT ORGANISATION, WHO WORK CLOSELY WITH THE NHS, TO SUPPORT BEREAVED PARENTS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED, OR ARE GOING THROUGH EARLY PREGNANCY AND BABY LOSS.

We have over 70 ambassadors stationed at hospitals all over the country, including DILAM Mother Chloe Westmore, who works closely with Southend and Basildon Hospital.  No matter what you’re going through, we are here for you.

These uncertain times have only made us even more passionate about supporting people going through heartbreak. Despite being unable to offer in person support at this time, we still have plenty online support for people to come seeking help.

Chloe has been fundraising for CRADLE since last year, and with her efforts, is able to offer free funded online counselling workshops to women and partners following their loss, as well as free 1-2-1 support too.

yellow comfort bags programme

PART OF OUR CRADLE SUPPORT IN THE HOSPITALS, IS RUNNING OUR YELLOW COMFORT BAG PROGRAMME.

These bags are filled with basic comforts, kindly donated. These go to women who have been rushed into hospitals, following or during a loss, to offer them some comfort during such a heart-breaking time.

It also signposts them to the Cradle Charity within an hour of being admitted. The basic toiletries we ask for are on the list below. If you, or anyone you know would like to support this programme, please contact coco@doitlikeamother.co.uk
