The class is suitable from 12-14 weeks pregnant regardless of previous yoga experience. The class will make you feel relaxed and can help you remain more comfortable in pregnancy. You will learn techniques that will help you in pregnancy and prepare you for an active birth. Classes are relaxed, informal and fun, all equipment is provided.
All equipment provided, classes are yoga based postures and movements to help pregnancy be more comfortable, learn tips and techniques to help during pregnancy, for birth and motherhood. Knowledge is shared that can be used during birth and can compliment other antenatal classes.
Our introduction to postnatal pilates course provides new mums in Essex with a toolkit of various tips to aid them in everyday tasks such as protecting your back when picking baby up.
Each week, there is a different focus point which is relevant to the postnatal body and how to improve things like posture, the pelvic floor etc. (remember, knowledge is power!) and the idea is that you don’t just come along to Pilates once a week and then leave it there until the next week.
Postnatal Pilates is a six week follow-on course, designed to be followed after the Introduction to Postnatal Pilates Course.
It’s a full Pilates session where we continue to work on healing the postnatal body and regaining strength, focussing on the abdominals, pelvic floor and posture. Again, we are practising on exercises that strengthen the muscles that we are using most as a mum so that everyday tasks are easier and we have less back pain.
Come along with your babies and toddlers for cake, coffee and moral support. Sling advice and hire available as well as infant feeding support and general parenting solidarity. No judgment, just cake.

Yoga for kids aged 4-8.
Using yoga poses and mindful exercises, I will introduce the children to the benefits of keeping your mind and body healthy ans strong. We will explore the capabilities of our big and loud actions and emptions and learn to listen to our smaller, quieter ones. All while having lots of fun and games of course!

Yoga for kids aged 2-4!
Through stories, songs and games, this class will introduce children to some of the poses we practise in yoga. Using yoga techniques and philosophy we will encourage fine and gross motor skills development as well as creating a positive space for all that incredible toddler energy!
Our pregnancy pilates classes incorporate conditioning of the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, mobility work to ease aches and pains, stretching and strengthening of muscles to assist posture and breathing techniques. The classes are even suitable for those with Pelvic Girdle Pain/Symphysis Pubis Disorder and can really help to alleviate some of the discomfort.
